Omnichannel Capabilities
RecoBoost's AI isn't limited to your storefront. It seamlessly integrates with emails, automated workflows, and your favorite AI development tools, letting you manage and power smart recommendations from anywhere.
Email recommendations
Drop a single image tag into Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Omnisend, Shopify Email, or any ESP template. Each open renders fresh recommendations server-side—no SDK, no provider lock-in.
Shopify Flow triggers
Three first-party Flow triggers fire when shoppers click, add to cart, or convert via a RecoBoost recommendation. Tag customers, notify Slack, kick off rewards.
MCP Integration
With Model Context Protocol (MCP) support, you can now check status or update recommendations inside Cursor, Claude, and more. Manage widgets and review performance via text without switching tabs, streamlining your daily operations.
From browsing history and similar products to "frequently bought together" and AI automated optimization—flexibly combine the perfect recommendation algorithms tailored to your store's context and user intent.

Under the hood
You should not have to care about the stack—but if you do, here is what is doing the work.
Catalog, sessions, and vector storage for AI similarity.
Hot recommendations cached close to your storefront.
Title and description vectors for similar-item search.
Bayesian routing that balances exploration and exploitation.
Serverless rendering for the admin and recommendation API.
Always-on error and performance monitoring across the stack.

What's new
Highlights from the latest RecoBoost releases.
Email recommendation images are no longer included on Free. Storefront recommendations still work on Free. Embed recommendations in email on Starter or higher.
Recommendation pool caps are now Free 250 / Starter 2,000 / Core 10,000 / Pro unlimited. Free is for setup and validation; ongoing catalogs fit Starter and above. Shops already on RecoBoost keep the previous Free cap (up to 5,000 products). Monthly prices, all logics on every plan, and no usage fees are unchanged.
From the recommendation settings list you can now add, edit (logic, heading, product count, and more), and remove widgets. We also added Bulk place by page to place page-fit logics across multiple templates at once. You can handle basic placement and settings quickly without opening the theme editor.
From AI tools you can now batch-update theme widget visuals—not only the heading, but font size, products to show, layout, image ratio, and more. You can also ask to add or remove widgets across configurable pages via MCP (checkout / thank-you still use the checkout editor). See “What can I do via MCP?” in the FAQ for details.
You can now manage RecoBoost from AI tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Claude Desktop, or Codex via chat. On MCP settings, press the connect button for your tool (one-click for Cursor). Check setup status, dashboard, and recommendation configs, or update settings and widget headings / logic. See the MCP items in FAQ for details. Available on all plans.
No usage-based pricing. Free covers up to 250 products; Starter and above fit live catalogs. Add a theme block and go live.
